Poetry

Limitations by Sovan Roy

The essence of love, / in a nocturnal dream / spins a yarn to bloom / a muriate of ammonia, / with essence of desire;-while the dawn approaches / to clear the mist, / and unveils suddenly a disappointed heart.

The essence of life, / can never transcend / the little bridge between / birth and death; / dancing waves as if , / between sea and shore / stretching golden girts / one after another, / for predestined cataclysm.

-but some viviperous seeds / dare spreading roots / in intertidal beach.

Opportunity by Sovan Roy
A deep relation / demands continuous care/as the essence, /of intense sense of possession if felt uncared, / keeps alive a diffusive encounter / between both / with unspoken words/
and amassed acquisitions / of imaginary incidents, /
originating from values within self, / and forms a noose to enclose /
in a delusive net / of contemptible attraction.

The human nature / of ravenous desire / to love and to be loved / so facilitates to loose foot /
for forbidden thrills; / bachelors look around for such an opportunity.

Wild affair by Sovan Roy
Bare alien women / rejoice sunbath pleasure / on the beaches of Goa, / amorous lovers kiss openly / on city sidewalks; / and the shipping harbour / where some women with wild stares / entice tired sailor; / on Calcutta streets! / some gentlemen near forbidden abodes / for aboriginal pleasure / throng together; / all, I have been feeling / as wild reflections of civilized earth.

But this evening / after a pleasant shower / a lady rainbow,I wonder! / on the eastern sky / facing dusky sun / becomes gradually bare. / Suavity of the virgin / brings lustful tremor / of unwinding youth / to eyes of imbecile Helios, / and spills wonderful colours / on the face of melancolised universe;

Intimate hugging for deep affairs / diffuses in eternal peace; / sweat drops on masculinity bare / and disheveled hairs of exhausting virginity / slowly disappear, / as darkness invades the earth; / a vesper stoic spreads on me a might, / of primordial wild affair.
